Yo-
I want some peoples opinions on some of the positions in the league. For example, who do yall think is the best goalie? I can't decide, I have seen some good ones. Also, who is the nastiest forward? Finally, who locks down the mid field?
Give me your opinion.

I am really interested in getting to the bottom of UMPI, who almost beat Guatamala with only 8 players, only beat the sorry Revolution, with a full squad by only 1 point. There was no man power excuse. In fact, if Revolution could score a goal, they would have tied the team that was full strength, which almost beat the best team at 8/11 strength. Making Revolution the best squad, that is, if they could score some f**king goals.
Who is the leading scorer in this League?

UMPI never claimed to be something special. Maybe some on here did. You said it best: Revolution are mediocre at best and just because UMPI had a bad day does not say anything about UMPI, after all they are second on the table. Revolution as you point out or any other team in this league would be hard pressed to beat Guatemala Deportivo but I can guarantee you that UMPI FC can and will. They might not be something special but they are genuine contenders not pretenders. I personally think the league only has 3 good teams and I would like to maybe see less teams next year. That way the league can be competitive and the organizers can have time for tournaments unlike this year where we have too many mediocre teams as the talent pool was spread thin.

Maybe you should ask Kobe and the UMPI forwards that question. And while you are at it you might also want to ask Revolution why they did not score ANY goal. Not even a disallowed one.
You think they barely got away alive, I think they won the game which at the end of the day is what matters when all is forgotten. Take a look at the schedule, all you see is the scoreline. There is no mention of missed sitters and who could have won. Championship teams know how to win and grind out results even when they play badly.
I am also leaning towards UMPI as the best team in the league: Guatemala Deportivo were lucky to tie a game in which UMPI played most of the second half with 8 players. If you can barely beat a team with 8 players you are not worth your salt. They got top spot now because they have been consistent. UMPI has been up and down though they have not lost they tied games they clearly should have won.
That's my piece.

That just shows that UMPI is nothing special. Revolution is a really mediocre team which realistically cannot beat Guatemala team for example. If Revolution had full squad it would have been a very even game with possibility of UMPI loosing a game (besides the fact that UMPI is playing better soccer).

how come umpi didn't score more goals vs revolution? They barely got away alive. Revolution had several chances.
